SULTAN — Sultan won the battle of the trenches as they rushed for six touchdowns and held Darrington to minus 46 yards of total offense to win the nonconference game. The Turks’ Ian Cooper had 96 yards rushing and two touchdowns on nine carries to lead the Sultan rushing attack which had 142 yards rushing as a team. Darrington scored on a touchdown pass from quarterback Trent Green to receiver Justin Smith as time expired.
