Lake Stevens 71, Glacier Peak 63

LAKE STEVENS — The Vikings improved to 5-2 overall and 2-0 in league while handing Glacier Peak (5-2, 2-1) its first league loss.

Mariner 41, Cascade 39

EVERETT — Jordan Johnson led a balanced attack with 10 points as the Marauders improved to 2-5 in league and 1-2 overall. Sally Sylla’s 18 points and Riley Osbjornsen’s 15 kept the Bruins (0-3, 1-6) close.

Wesco 3A/2A North

Snohomish 57, Everett 24

EVERETT — Kendall Hammer scored nine points on three 3-pointers as the Panthers (5-2 overall, 1-0 league) started off their league season with a win. Though no Snohomish players scored in double figures, seven Panthers scored five or more points. Akira Shaw tallied 18 points for Everett (2-6).

Wesco 3A/2A South

Meadowdale 59, Mountlake Terrace 35

LYNNWOOD — Fueled by 20 points from Audrey Lucas, the Mavericks improved to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in league. Individual statistics were not reported for Terrace (5-2, 1-2).

Shorewood 49, Shorecrest 45

SHORELINE — Shorewood never trailed in the second half and held on to improve to 2-5 overall and 1-2 in league. Bridget Cox led with 16 points and Rose Gallagher and Vanessa Spadafora each chipped in 8 points. Individual statistics were not reported for Shorecrest (4-5, 2-2).

Stanwood 61, Jackson 31

MILL CREEK — Paced by three scorers in double figures — Jazmyn Legg (13 points), Presley Harris (12) and Mylee LaComb (11) — the Spartan improved to 6-0. Makena Devine led Jackson (4-2) with 16 points.

Edmonds-Woodway 55, Marysville Pilchuck 21

EDMONDS — Edmonds-Woodway (5-1 overall) was led by junior Finley Wichers with 15 points, five rebounds and five steals. Senior Abi Porter added 13 points. Junior Janie Hanson contributed defensively, equalling Wichers’ five steals. Individual statistics were not reported for the Tomahawks (0-8).

Eastlake 59, Monroe 53

SAMMAMISH — Halle Keller (18 points) and Mya Mercille (16) led Monroe (2-5 overall), but Eastlake’s Megan Roberts’ 25 carried the Wolves.

Sultan 48, Coupeville 33

COUPEVILLE — Wendy Asper scored a game-high 21 points as the Turks improved to 5-3 overall. Gaby Yepez Suarez added 10 points for Sultan.

Darrington 47, Shoreline Christian 17

DARRINGTON — Claire Wright’s 30 points, 13 rebounds and seven steals powered the Loggers (4-3). Sophie Ross contributed 10 points and six steals for Darrington.
