BOYS BASKETBALL

Wesco 3A/2A

Arlington 56, Shorewood 34

ARLINGTON — Ty Rusko scored a team-high 17 points and made four 3-pointers to help lead Arlington to a league win over Shorewood.

Leyton Martin scored 15 points, David Zachman added 11 and Jake Willis chipped in six for Arlington (16-2, 13-1 Wesco 3A/2A), which has won nine games in a row.

Jaden Messer scored 17 points, including three 3-pointers, and Logan Anderson chipped in nine for Shorewood (9-11, 5-9).

Monroe 58, Everett 52

EVERETT — Hayden Creswell scored a team-high 18 points, including 15 in the first half, and Monroe held off Everett in a hard-fought league matchup.

Steve Kuhnle scored 13 points, Wyatt Prohn added 11 and Ethan Hogan chipped in eight for Monroe (15-3, 11-3 Wesco 3A/2A).

Senior Hayden Conaxis scored 15 points and senior Danny Savovic had 13 points on Senior Night for Everett (11-8, 9-5). Isaiah White added 14 points.

Edmonds-Woodway 63, Cascade 62

EVERETT — Ben Hanson drew a foul and made two free throws with .6 seconds remaining to give Edmonds-Woodway the lead and the Warriors eeked out a close league win over Cascade.

Drew Warner had 26 points and 10 rebounds, Hanson finished with 14 points and Steven Warren Jr. added five points, four assists and five rebounds for Edmonds-Woodway (8-11, 5-9 Wesco 3A/2A).

Aidan Kopra had 21 points and 10 rebounds, Devin Gilbert added 17 points and nine rebounds, and Nate Lagutang chipped in 10 points and four assists for Cascade (5-13, 2-12).

Marysville Getchell 71, Stanwood 58

STANWOOD — Shawn Etheridge scored a team-high 22 points to power Marysville Getchell to a league win over Stanwood.

Bubba Palacol scored 20 points, Zach Rice added 11 and Wyatt Harris chipped in nine for Marysville Getchell (13-6, 9-5 Wesco 3A/2A).

Max Mayo scored a team-high 18 points, including four 3-pointers, John Floyd added 13 and Owen Thayer chipped in nine for Stanwood (14-5, 9-5).

Northwest Conference

Lakewood 63, Meridian 56

BELLINGHAM — Mason Weller poured in a game-high 25 points to help lead Lakewood to a league win over Meridian.

Caleb Greenland scored 10 points, Dominic Smith added nine and Zachary Stoddard chipped in eight for Lakewood (10-10, 7-7 Northwest Conference).

Jaeger Fyfe scored a team-high 15 points for Meridian (11-8, 6-8).

Glacier Peak 64, Mariner 27

SNOHOMISH — Senior Kylani Rookstool had 23 points, four rebounds, five assists and three steals on Senior Night to help lead Glacier Peak past Mariner in a league win.

Sammie Thoma had 18 points, nine rebounds and three steals, Brynna Pukis added nine points and Zoey Ritter chipped in four rebounds, six assists and three steals for Glacier Peak (14-4, 6-1).

Danaysia Cain scored 11 points, Kyairra Roussin added eight and Angela Rodriguez-Frias chipped in seven for Mariner (4-14, 0-7).

Lake Stevens 70, Jackson 49

MILL CREEK — Nisa Ellis scored a team-high 24 points as Lake Stevens rolled to a league win over Jackson.

Kiera Tupua scored 15 points, Madelyn Aske added nine and Ella Edens and Kamryn Wenz chipped in seven each for Lake Stevens (13-6, 5-2 Wesco 4A).

Giselle Dogan scored 22 points, Hannah mack added 12 and Arielle Leavens chipped in nine for Jackson (6-14, 2-6).

Wesco 3A/2A

Stanwood 88, Marysville Pilchuck 19

MARYSVILLE — Vivienne Berrett led five Stanwood scorers in double-figures with 17 points and the Spartans rolled to a league win over Marysville Pilchuck.

Elle Wortham scored 15 points, Stella Berrett had 14, Jazmyn Legg added 13 and Grace Walker chipped in 11 for the Spartans (16-3, 12-2 Wesco 3A/2A).

Kiawna Calkins scored a team-high nine points and Jenasea Wise added six for Marysville Pilchuck (0-17, 0-14).

Non-league
