SHORELINE — Sarah Fletcher’s (2-for-6, HR, two runs, three RBI) double in the 10th inning brought home Maddie Evans (3-for-5, two runs, two 2B) for the game-winning Wildcats run. After knotting the first game of their doubleheader at five apiece in five innings, Shorewood and Archbishop Murphy would each go scoreless in the next three frames. In the ninth, both scored two runs on a double and a single each, before Fletcher’s 10-inning double. Carly Madhavan (2-for-4, three runs, one RBI) homered in the third for Archbishop Murphy. Lillian Perreault (2-for-5, two runs, three RBI) also hit a home run in the third for the Stormrays. Ellie Van Horn pitched nine innings for Shorewood, striking out 20 hitters and allowing 11 hits.
