BOYS BASKETBALL

Wesco 3A/2A

Arlington 78, Everett 42

EVERETT — Leyton Martin scored 24 points and David Zachman added 19 and Arlington pulled away in the third quarter and cruised to a league win over Everett.

Silas Miller scored 12 points, including three 3-pointers, and Ty Rusko chipped in six for Arlington (15-2, 12-1 Wesco 3A/2A), which led by nine at halftime but outscored the Seagulls 23-8 in the third quarter.

Danny Savovic scored a team-high 16 points, and Isaiah White and Ty Bloomfield added nine each for Everett (11-7, 9-4).

Cedarcrest 63, Snohomish 53

SNOHOMISH — Murphy Vliem scored 21 points and added eight rebounds to help lead Cedarcrest to a league win over Snohomish.

Jack LeBlanc had 10 points and six assists, and Max Taibl added 10 points for Cedarcrest (8-8, 6-6 Wesco 3A/2A).

Drew Davis scored 21 points, Jason Roth had 11, and Jaylen Donaldson and Amari Biggs chipped in eight each for Snohomish (7-10, 5-8).

Marysville Pilchuck 69, Marysville Getchell 51

MARYSVILLE – Tommy Nguyen scored 26 points, including 12 in the third quarter as Marysville Pilchuck outscored Marysville Getchell 24-5 and pulled away for a league win over its crosstown rival.

Jackson Poe scored 23 points and also tallied 12 in the big third quarter for Marysville Pilchuck (2-15, 2-10 Wesco 3A/2A).

Bubba Palacol scored a team-high 22 points and Shawn Etheridge chipped in 11 for Maryville Getchell (12-6, 8-5).

Northwest Conference

Lakewood 58, Squalicum 54

ARLINGTON — Mason Weller led a balanced Lakewood offense with 15 points and the Cougars rode a big second quarter to a league win over Squalicum.

Benjamin Rucker and Dominic Smith scored 10 points each, and Evan Stacey chipped in eight for Lakewood (9-9, 6-6 Northwest Conference), which outscored the Storm 20-8 in the second quarter to take a 10-point lead into halftime.

Xander Sledge scored a team-high 15 points for Squalicum (8-11, 5-8).

Emerald Sound Conference

Sultan 67, Eastside Prep 56

SULTAN — Toby Trichler poured in 30 points and Eli Trichler added 20 as Sultan pulled into a tie for first place in the Emerald Sound Conference Coho Division with a win over Eastside Prep.

Tommy Spikes added eight points for Sultan (14-2, 9-1 Emerald Sound), which split the season series with the Eagles. Both teams have two conference games remaining.

Carter Bayer scored a team-high 29 points for Eastside Prep (10-5, 9-1).

SNOHOMISH — Kylani Rookstool put together a complete game with 29 points, six rebounds and five assists and Glacier Peak raced past Jackson in a league game.

Brynna Pukis had 17 points, five rebounds and six assists, and Sammie Thoma added five points and seven rebounds for Glacier Peak (13-3, 5-1 Wesco 4A).

Giselle Dogan scored 24 points, Hannah Mack had 10 and Arielle Leowens chipped in nine for Jackson (6-13, 2-5).

Monroe 43, Shorewood 31

SHORELINE — Adria Lincoln scored a team-high 19 points and Monroe beat Shorewood in a league game for its eighth win in a row.

Halle Keller added 17 points for Monroe (13-5, 8-5 Wesco 3A/2A).

Shorewood fell to 9-8 overall and 6-6 in league play.

Shorecrest 55, Cascade 27

EVERETT — Cassandra Chestnut led 10 Shorecrest scorers with 16 points and the Scots rolled to a league win over Cascade.

Magnolia Ensign scored 11 points and Jocelyn Shea added seven for Shorecrest (8-8, 4-8 Wesco 3A/2A).

Claire Mitchell scored a game-high 19 points and Abby Surowiec chipped in six for Cascade (2-15, 1-12).

Snohomish 44, Cedarcrest 16

DUVALL — Tyler Gildesleeve-Stiles scored a team-high 14 points and Snohomish turned up the heat on defense in a league win over Cedarcrest.

Jada Andresen scored 10 points and Cora Larson chipped in six for Snohomish (13-5, 10-3 Wesco 3A/2A), which allowed just two points in the second half.

Kaylee Rogers scored a team-high seven points for Cedarcrest (2-14, 1-11).
