Consolation bracket (winner to state)

Glacier Peak 3, Skyline 2

SNOHOMISH — The fifth-seeded Grizzlies outlasted the sixth-seeded Falcons in five sets to clinch a state berth in a consolation bracket game of the 4A bi-district 1/2 tournament.

Glacier Peak (14-5) advances to face top-seeded Eastlake in the third-place game noon Saturday at Jackson High School.

Skyline (16-6) will face third-seeded Mount Si in a winner-to-state, loser-out fifth place game 10 a.m. Saturday at Jackson.

3A DISTRICT 1 TOURNAMENT

Semifinals (winner to state)

At Marysville Pilchuck H.S.

Shorewood 3, Meadowdale 1

MARYSVILLE — The second-seeded Stormrays bested the third-seeded Mavericks to clinch a state berth and advance to the finals of the 3A District 1 tournament.

Shorewood (18-2) advances to face top-seeded Lynnwood in the district title match 1 p.m. Saturday at Marysville Pilchuck High School.

Meadowdale (13-6) will face ninth-seeded Oak Harbor in a winner-to-state, loser-out consolation game 11 a.m. Saturday at Marysville Pilchuck.

Lynnwood 3, Shorecrest 0

MARYSVILLE — The top-seeded Royals swept the fourth-seeded Scots to clinch a state berth and advance to the finals of the 3A District 1 tournament.

Unbeaten Lynnwood (19-0) advances to face second-seeded Shorewood in the district title match 1 p.m. Saturday at Marysville Pilchuck High School.

Shorecrest (15-5) will face sixth-seeded Ferndale in a winner-to-state, loser-out consolation game 11 a.m. Saturday at Marysville Pilchuck.

Ferndale 3, Snohomish 0

MARYSVILLE — The 10th-seeded Panthers fell in straight sets to the sixth-seeded Golden Eagles in a loser-out consolation game of the 3A District 1 tournament.

Snohomish finished its season 8-11.

Ferndale (11-8) advanced to to face fourth-seeded Shorecrest in a winner-to-state, loser-out consolation game 11 a.m. Saturday at Marysville Pilchuck High School.

Oak Harbor 3, Monroe 0

MARYSVILLE — The fifth-seeded Bearcats fell in straight sets to the ninth-seeded Wildcats in a loser-out consolation game of the 3A District 1 tournament.

Monroe finished its season 14-6.

Oak Harbor (11-8) will face third-seeded Meadowdale in a winner-to-state, loser-out consolation game 11 a.m. Saturday at Marysville Pilchuck High School.
