EDMONDS — Lucas Wanke struck out 10 during a one-hit shutout on the mound and the Warriors bested the Royals in a Wesco South tilt.

Trevelyan Podawiltz collected two hits, two RBI, two stolen bases and scored two runs, Toshi Gilginas had two hits, a double, two stolen bases and an RBI and Andreas Simonsen reached base twice and scored twice for Edmonds-Woodway (4-3 overall, 3-0 league). Wanke walked only one and pitched a shutout for the second straight start.

Jace Hampson’s double stood as the lone hit for Lynnwood (1-5, 0-1). Gavin Harrington struck out six and allowed four runs, three earned, on hit five hits and four walks.

ARLINGTON — Wyatt Pevny tossed a shutout and drove in two runs at the plate as the Cougars raced past the Storm in a Northwest Conference matchup.

Aiden Jones went 3-for-3 with a double and three RBI and Cayden Hayes went 3-for-3 with two RBI for Lakewood (3-1 overall, 3-0 league). Pevny struck out eight.

Squalicum fell to 0-6 overall and 0-3 in league play.

Non-league

Mountlake Terrace 13, Lake Stevens 1

LAKE STEVENS — Jack Gripentrog, Talan Zenk and Griffin Potter each had two hits and drove in a combined seven runs as the Hawks cruised past the Vikings in a non-league game.

Gripentrog doubled, drove in two and scored three runs, Zenk had three RBI and two runs scored and Patter had two RBI and two runs scored. Owen Meek struck out two and allowed one run and one hit to pickup the victory for Mountlake Terrace (5-1).

Seth Danielson had double, a walk, a run scored and a stolen base for Lake Stevens (2-3).

ARLINGTON — The Cougars used an eight-run sixth inning to break open a tie game and down the Golden Eagles in a Northwest Conference matchup.

EJ Wise put Lakewood (4-2 overall, 2-1 league) in front with a bases-clearing double and Nikki Blodgett and Skylar Sobitz each had two-run singles in sixth. Kaite Krueger struck out 12 and earned the win with complete game in the circle. She also went 2-for-2 with a triple, three walks and four runs scored. Skylynn Abell added a single and an RBI.

Kaelin Blakley homered twice, double and drove in three for Ferndale (3-2, 1-2).

Non-league

Kamiak 12, Monroe 0 (5 innings)

MUKILTEO — Scarlette Chapman went 4-for-4 with two triples and three RBI, Synclair Mawudeku tossed four scoreless innings and the Knights rolled past the Bearcats in a non-league game.

Aliana Boulger had two hits and two RBI, Tyler Karabach doubled, had two hits and drove in two and Camille Hansen tripled and drove in three for Kamiak (9-0). Mawudeku struck out six and allowed one hit to earn the win.

Scarlett Nagy collected the lone hit for Monroe (3-2).

EVERETT — The Warriors and Wildcats played to a draw in a Wesco 3A/2A clash of early-season unbeatens.

Andrew Montero netted the goal for Edmonds-Woodway (4-0-2 overall, 3-0-2 league).

Solomon Perera scored off an assists by Zach Mohr for Archbishop Murphy (3-0-2, 3-0-2).

Meadowdale 2, Stanwood 0

STANWOOD — CJ Obeize and Caleb Angeles scored goals as the Mavericks blanked the Spartans in a Wesco 3A/2A matchup.

Noe Pasillas earned the shutout in net and Maximo Falagan had an assist for Meadowdale (2-3-1 overall, 2-2-1 league).

Stanwood fell to 1-5-0 overall and 0-5-0 in league play.
