Jackson 2, Kamiak 0

MILL CREEK — Chase Halvorson tossed a shutout, struck out nine and allowed just five hits to lift Jackson past Kamiak in a tight game to open league play.

Braden O’Donnell went 3-for-3 with three stolen bases and three runs scored, and Bryan Ho and Matt Dickert added base hits for Jackson (10-1, 1-0 Wesco 4A).

Kamiak fell to 4-7 overall and 0-1 in league.

Lake Stevens 13, Glacier Peak 1 (5), Game 1

LAKE STEVENS — Seth Mahler doubled and drove in four runs and Lake Stevens scored five runs in the third inning and seven in the fourth to storm past Glacier Peak in the first game of a league-opening doubleheader.

Cole Becker allowed just one run on two hits in five quality innings and went 2-for-3 with two RBI at the plate, and TK Perkins went 2-for-3 with two RBI and three runs scored for Lake Stevens (8-3, 1-0 Wesco 4A).

Bode Stevenson hit a solo home run and Connor Bullard added a base hit for Glacier Peak (6-7, 0-1).

Lake Stevens 6, Glacier Peak 1, Game 2

LAKE STEVENS — Wyatt Queen struck out nine and allowed just one unearned run on seven hits in 6.1 strong innings to help lead Lake Stevens to a league-opening doubleheader sweep over Glacier Peak.

Aspen Alexander went 3-for-3 with a double, RBI and two runs scored, and Trey Nance went 1-for-1 with a walk, three RBI and a run scored and also struck out both hitters he faced in relief to close the game for Lake Stevens (9-3, 2-0 Wesco 4A).

Gavin Gardner went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI, and Nate Morello added two hits for Glacier Peak (6-8, 0-2).

Wesco 3A/2A North

Arlington 6, Snohomish 0

ARLINGTON — Cooper McBride struck out 10 and allowed just five hits in a shutout on the mound, and went 1-for-3 with two RBI, a run scored and a stolen base to help Arlington hand Snohomish its first league loss of the season.

Ty Rusko had a base hit and a run scored, and Camden Knudson and Aiden White added base hits for Arlington (7-6, 5-2 Wesco 3A/2A North).

Baylor Hill went 1-for-3 with a double, and Tommy Brandvold went 1-for 3 at the plate and tossed four innings of scoreless relief while allowing just two hits for Snohomish (9-4, 6-1).

Stanwood 2, Marysville Getchell 1

MARYSVILLE — Mason Goodson took a no-hitter into the seventh inning and finished with 16 strikeouts and allowed just one hit and one run in 6.2 dominant innings as Stanwood edged Marysville Getchell in a league game.

Goodson also went 2-for-3 at the plate, and Matthew Brennan got the final out to earn the save for Stanwood (7-6, 5-2 Wesco 3A/2A North).

Chayse Randle struck out six and allowed just one run on four hits in six strong innings, Eathen Yoon singled to break up the no-hitter in the seventh and Ethan Jury had an RBI single for Marysville Getchell (4-9, 1-6).

Archbishop Murphy 10, Marysville Pilchuck 5

MARYSVILLE — Reese Logsdon had multiple hits at the plate and struck out eight and allowed two runs in four innings pitched to help lead Archbishop Murphy to a league win over Marysville Pilchuck.

Cole McCourt also chipped in multiple hits for Archbishop Murphy (5-9, 2-5 Wesco 3A/2A North)) in the game.

Shane Nelson, Ethan Alberts and Lucian Curtis each had multiple hits for Marysville Pilchuck (2-11, 2-5).

Monroe 14, Everett 4 (5), resumption of ppd. game

EVERETT — Joseph Gonzalez and Rylan Hampton both drove in three runs as Monroe beat Everett in the resumption of a weather-delayed league game from Monday afternoon.

Hampton finished 2-for-4 with a triple, Gonzalez went 2-for-4 with a double and Mason Bingham struck out three in three innings pitched for Monroe (8-4, 5-2 Wesco 3A/2A North).

Everett fell to 4-9 overall and 2-5 in league play.

Monroe 13, Everett 5

EVERETT — Ethan Hogan went 2-for-3 with a home run, three RBI and three runs scored to power Monroe to a league win over Everett.

Markus Leiren went 2-for-3 with three RBI and also allowed no runs on four hits in four quality innings pitched for Monroe (9-4, 6-2 Wesco 3A/2A).

Everett fell to 4-10 overall and 2-6 in league play.

Wesco 3A/2A South

Edmonds-Woodway 5, Mountlake Terrace 0

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Dylan Schlenger tossed a four-hit shutout and struck out eight to improve to 6-0 on the season as Edmonds-Woodway topped Mountlake Terrace to stay on top of the Wesco 3A/2A South league standings.

Grant Oliver and Cruz Escandon each had two hits and Kohl Gruender added an RBI double for Edmonds-Woodway (9-5, 6-1 Wesco 3A/2A South).

Rominic Quiban went 2-for-3 with a stolen base, Dayton Nickolson struck out six in 5.1 innings pitched and Jeremy Perreault struck out two and allowed no runs in 1.2 innings of relief for Mountlake Terrace (7-6, 4-3).

Kaylee Mitchell went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored, and Amaya Johnson went 1-for-3 with an RBI, run scored, a stolen base and tossed two scoreless innings of relief for Mountlake Terrace (5-4, 3-2 Wesco 3A/2A).

Rachel Krivanek doubled and drove in two runs, and Peyton Hayes went 2-for-3 with a double for Cedarcrest (4-5, 3-3).

Snohomish 11, Edmonds-Woodway 0 (5)

EDMONDS — Emma Hansen went 2-for-3 with two home runs and four RBI to power Snohomish to a league win over Edmonds-Woodway.

Kendel Sage went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI for Snohomish (6-3, 4-0 Wesco 3A/2A).

Mallory Melin went 1-for-2 for Edmonds-Woodway (5-4, 2-4).

Marysville Getchell 11, Archbishop Murphy 10 (8)

MARYSVILLE — Teagan Carroll hit a walk-off RBI triple in the bottom of the eighth inning to lift Marysville Getchell to a thrilling league win over Archbishop Murphy.

Lilyana Balgos and Emme Witter added triples, and Jaidyn Swanson and Hayden Kranz had three hits each for Marysville Getchell (5-4, 3-2 Wesco 3A/2A).

Gabby Cummings, Carly Madhavan and Markella Vick had three hits each for Archbishop Murphy (5-7, 2-5).
