BOYS BASKETBALL

Wesco 3A/2A

Everett 62, Meadowdale 45

LYNNWOOD — Isaiah White poured in a game-high 27 points and the Seagulls pulled away early for a win against the Mavericks in Wesco 3A/2A play.

White added 10 rebounds for a double-double. Ty Bloomfield had 10 points and Mo Juma and Sam Lawless added eight apiece for Everett (3-3 overall, 2-1 league). The Seagulls allowed just three points in the first quarter and led 34-14 at halftime.

Jaymon Wright scored 14 points, nine rebounds and six steals, and Khalil Botley and David Janzen each chipped in eight for Meadowdale (2-4, 0-3).

Cedarcrest 74, Shorewood 54

SHORELINE— Jack Leblanc scored a game-high 26 points and added five rebounds and five assists in the Red Wolves’ victory over the Stormrays in Wesco 3A/2A action.

Adam Rawlings had 15 points and six assists, Alex Amaral added 13 points points and six assists, and Cooper Ayers chipped in eight rebounds for Cedarcrest (3-1 overall, 2-1 league), which pulled away after leading 28-24 at halftime.

Jaden Marlow netted 20 points and Thomas Moles and Nathaniel Burkell added seven apiece for Shorewood (3-1, 2-1).

Monroe 77, Snohomish 54

MONROE — Caleb Campbell led a quartet of Monroe players in double figures with 16 points and the Bearcats pulled away in the third quarter for a Wesco 3A/2A win over the Panthers.

Will Prohn scored 11 of his 15 points in the third as Monroe (4-0 overall, 3-0 league) outscored Snohomish 19-7 to pull ahead 51-36. Noah Giaconni and Kieren Greear each added 15 points.

Drew Davis registered 16 points, Jason Roth had 13 and Andrew Gibson added 10 for Snohomish (1-4, 0-3).

Northwest Conference

Lakewood 65, Blaine 32

BLAINE — Ben Rucker paced a balanced effort with 16 points and the Cougars built a big lead early on their way to Northwest Conference victory over the Boderites.

Caleb Greenland scored 14 points, Zach Stoddard netted nine and JJ Hoekendorf and Evan Stacey each added eight for Lakewood (3-2 overall, 2-1 league). The Cougars scored over 20 points in each of the first two quarter en route to a 44-17 lead.

Josiah Weeda led Blaine (2-3, 1-2) with 12 points.

Non-league

Marysville Pilchuck 57, Mariner 56

Northern Beeches (Australia) 45, Cedar Park Christian (Lynnwood) 41

Lakewood 45, Blaine 28

ARLINGTON — Frankee Powers led a balanced attack with 11 points and the Cougars used a strong defensive effort to top the Boderites in Northwest Conference play.

Karly Stewart had nine points and seven steals, Emma Tocco added seven points and seven rebounds and Alaina Jones chipped in four blocks for Lakewood (3-2 overall, 1-2 league). The Cougars held Blaine to single digits in the first three quarters en route to a 33-13 lead.

Blaine fell to 3-2 overall and 1-2 in league.

Non-league

Cedarcrest 66, Mariner 40

DUVALL — Kiki Anderson led all scorers with 18 points as the Red Wolves earned a non-league victory over the Marauders.

Allie Campbell scored 11 points and Kaylee Rogers added 10 for Cedarcrest (1-5).

Kyairra Roussin and Diyo Kuoi netted 12 points apiece to pace Mariner (1-3).
