FERNDALE — The nonleague game remained scoreless until the fourth inning when Arlingtton (1-0) jumped out to a 1-0 lead. Hailey Fields (1-0) shut down the Golden Eagles through six innings before giving up a three-run homer in the last of the seventh for Ferndale’s only runs. Veronica Ladines homered for Arlington and Kaitlyn Botten recorded two of the Eagles’ 12 hits.
