GRANITE FALLS — Sultan’s Shelby Jeffries and Granite Falls’ Lauren Harding combined for 19 strikeouts in a Cascade Conference pitcher’s duel Thursday night decided by a walk-off single by Harding in the bottom of the seventh.
The Tigers trailed 2-1 heading into the final inning before Harding’s heroics saved the day.
Grace Low and Belle Ellis drove in the only two runs of the day for the Turks in the sixth inning.
