SNOHOMISH — Doubles from Lauren Hufford (3-for-4, two RBI, two runs) and Briannica Titus (1-for-4, one RBI, one run) netted the Grizzlies two deciding runs in the sixth inning. Emma Hirshorn pitched a complete game for the Grizzlies (8-2 overall, 4-0 league), striking out four while allowing seven hits. Washington commit Allie Thomsen started both ways for Jackson (5-6, 2-2), striking out eight hitters in six innings while recording an RBI.

Monroe 9, Snohomish 5
SNOHOMISH — The Bearcats (8-4, 3-0) rode home runs from Hadley Oylear (1-for-4, one RBI, one run) and Vivian Knuckley (1-for-2, two RBI, one run) to a key conference win. Sophia Jeske (2-for-4, two runs) was a menace on the base paths, stealing three bases. Roz Girard (1-for-4, one run) led Snohomish with two RBI as the Panthers dropped to 7-4 overall and 0-2 in league play.
Everett 4, Marysville Getchell 2
MARYSVILLE — The Seagulls (5-4, 1-1) did all their damage in the fifth inning, scoring four runs in the frame to knock off the Chargers (6-6, 0-2). Everett drew seven walks in the game, five of which came in that fifth-inning barrage — leading to two runs while the bases were loaded. Mia Hoekendorf pitched 5.2 innings en route to a seven-K outing while going 2-for-with a run and an RBI at the plate for the Seagulls. Elle Glover (four Ks) pitched three scoreless innings for Marysville Getchell.

Mount Vernon 4, Lakewood 3
MOUNT VERNON — The Cougars lost on a walkoff solo home run to drop to 2-6 overall and 2-3 in league play. It was a heartbreaker for Lakewood pitcher Katie Krueger (6.1 IP), who had struck out eight hitters and hadn’t allowed an earned run until the doomed final pitch. Avery Hite (1-for-4, two RBI) doubled in the sixth inning to erase a 2-0 Mount Vernon lead.

Granite Falls 18, Orcas Island 1 (5)
GRANITE FALLS — The Tigers (2-4) coasted to a run-rule win, going 11-for-18 as a team with 16 walks drawn. Bella Frye (2-for-2, four runs) and Natalie Klepper (1-for-1, three RBI, three runs) led Granite Falls’ offense on a night in which five Tigers scored two or more runs. Frye also pitched all five innings, striking out seven while allowing five hits.

Darrington 4, Friday Harbor 2
DARRINGTON — Starting pitcher Claire Wright struck out 10 while allowing three hits in a complete game for Darrington (3-2, 1-2). Wright also starred at the plate, hitting a triple on a 2-for-3 day for an RBI. Gracie Ross and Mara Warren each doubled, posting an RBI each for the Loggers.
