Prep softball roundup for Wednesday, April 2:

Stanwood 11, Marysville Getchell 1 (5)

STANWOOD — Spartans pitcher Addison Anderson struck out 11 batters, surrendered two hits and two walks over five innings to lead her team to a win in their league opener. Anderson also drove in three runs for Stanwood (7-1 overall), going 2-for-2 at the plate. Rubi Lopez, Olivia Dahl, Jordan Rancourt, and Reagan Ryan also collected two hits apiece for the Spartans. For the Chargers (5-4, 0-1), Lilyana Balgos went 2-for-3 and scored her team’s lone run.

Monroe 15, Everett 3

EVERETT — Addy Bryant (2-for-3, triple, three RBI and Vivian Knuckey (2-for-4, double, four RBI, run) led the Bearcats’ (6-4 league, 2-0 overall) seven-hit, nine-walk outburst. Madeline Pewitt homered as part of a two-hit night for the Seagulls (3-4, 0-1).

Wesco 3A/2A South

Meadowdale 8, Edmonds-Woodway 1

LYNNWOOD — Meadowdale’s Payton Aldridge scattered seven hits over seven innings, walking one and striking out one on 83 pitches. Payton Fry went 3-for-3 with a double and three RBI for the Mavericks (3-4 overall, 2-0 league). Abby McCorvey led the Warriors (5-3, 1-1) with two hits.

Mountlake Terrace 20, Lynnwood 0 (5)

LYNNWOOD — Amaya Johnson smacked two homers, going 4-for-4 with a walk, seven RBI and four runs during the Hawks’ 15-hit, 15-walk afternoon. Yunona Guseinova had two of Lynnwood’s hits against Terrace starter Charlotte Snook, who struck out five and walked none. Terrace improved to 5-2 overall and 3-1 in league, while Lynnwood dropped to 1-8, 0-3.

Shorewood 1, Cedar Park Christian (Bothell) 0 (8)

SHORELINE — Rose Gallagher drove in the game’s only run in the bottom of the eighth with a walk-off single for Stormrays (5-4 overall). Shorewood pitcher Ellie Van Horn made the possible by striking out 14 batters while allowing just four hits and a walk over eight innings. Alyssa Carver and Grace McLaughlin each had two hits for the Stormrays.
