SULTAN — Sultan pitcher Shelby Jeffries struck out 12 in a one-hit shutout as Sultan beat Coupeville in a Cascade Conference game. It was the Turks freshman’s second one-hitter this week and she also held Lakewood to a lone single on Tuesday in a 5-1 win. Rachel Kirkpatrick went 3-for-5 with two doubles and five RBI to lead the Sultan offense.
