Sienna Leighton, Arlington girls tennis
Leighton, needed tiebreakers in the first and third sets to defeat Marysville Pilchuck’s Irina Gret at No. 4 singles and help the Eagles to a 4-3 win over the Tomahawks.
Iyanla De Jesus, Jackson softball
De Jesus, a senior, no-hit Cascade in the Timberwolves’ 9-0 win over the Bruins. She registered 15 strikeouts and four walks, and also went 3-for-4 at the plate with two home runs and six RBI.
Zaia Acklus, Cascade baseball
Acklus, a junior, went 4-for-4 with two doubles as the Bruins beat Glacier Peak 15-5 to clinch their second consecutive Wesco 4A crown.
Justin Feld, Cedar Park Christian baseball
Feld, a freshman making his varsity debut, hit a pinch-hit, three-run homer in the bottom of the sixth to complete the Eagles’ comeback from a four-run deficit and clinch the North Sound regular-season title in a 5-4 win over South Whidbey.
Randy Galvan, Marysville Pilchuck boys soccer
Galvan, a senior forward, had a hand in all five Tomahawks goals, scoring one and assisting on the other four as Marysville Pilchuck won the Wesco 3A/2A regular-season title for the second consecutive year with a 5-1 win over Everett.
