Prep stars of the night for Thursday, May 9:

Matthew Farnam, Shorecrest boys soccer

Farnam, a senior forward, scored one of the Scots’ two goals in regulation and also converted a penalty kick as Shorecrest advanced to the 3A state tournament after winning a district elimination game against Snohomish.

Sophie Feise, Shorewood softball

Feise, a senior, went 4-for-4 with a double in the Thunderbirds’ 8-3 win over Lynnwood in a play-in game for the 3A District 1 tournament.

Andrew Olson and Andrew Martin, Everett boys golf

Olson and Martin shared medalist honors at the Wesco 3A North Championships at Whidbey Golf & Country Club, as the Seagulls’ teammates each carded 6-over-par 78 to help Everett to the team title.
