Kaley Chang, Lakewood girls soccer
Chang, a sophomore forward, scored a golden goal three minutes into the first period of extra time to give the Cougars a 2-1 win over Blaine in a 2A Northwest District Tournament play-in game. Lakewood trailed 1-0 with six minutes remaining, but tied the match in stoppage time to force the extra period.
Jersey Heiss, Arlington girls soccer
Heiss, a junior forward, recorded a hat trick and assisted on the Eagles’ fourth goal in a 4-1 win over Oak Harbor in a 3A Northwest District Tournament play-in game.
