Prep volleyball: Meadowdale 3, Lynnwood 1

LYNNWOOD — Meadowdale remained atop the Wesco 3A South standings, defeating Lynnwood in a conference match 25-17, 20-25, 25-20, 25-23. Lindsey Milner led the way for the Mavericks (5-1 league, 5-5 overall) with 20 kills and 14 digs. Payton Shrum had 37 assists and went 21-for-21 from the serving line and Emily Denham had 10 digs, nine kills and four blocks. Lynnwood (2-5, 6-5) was led by the 19 kills and three blocks of Apol Thomaier, Jennifer Tsuji, who had 21 assists, and Kayla Dumo (16 digs).
