EVERETT — Behind a dominating performance from Ava Gonzalez, the Seagulls (8-9) moved on to the double-elimination portion of the bracket. The sophomore outside hitter tallied 27 kills, 15 digs, a block and an ace. Ava Urbanozo help set up Gonzalez with 48 assists to go along with four aces. Emi Regan-Bone added nine kills. Everett, the No. 7 seed, plays at second-seeded Snohomish, 7 p.m. on Nov. 12.

Meadowdale at Ferndale, 7 p.m.

Monroe 3, Mount Vernon 0

MONROE — The Bearcats (11-6) moved on to the double-elimination stage of the tournament with a sweep by scores of 25-21, 25-16 and 25-20. Shannara Peebles (11 kills, nine digs, three aces), Maddie Walker (19 digs, three assists, one ace) Alexis Walker (nine assists, seven aces) and Mukadesse Shirmedov (eight assists, three kills, one ace) led eighth-seeded Monroe, which travels to No. 1-seed Stanwood on Nov. 12 for a 7 p.m. match.

GRANITE FALLS — The Tigers (13-6 overall) advanced to a Saturday 1A District 1/2 crossover match, the winner of which earns a state tournament berth.

Fellowship Christian 3, Darrington 0 (both to state)
