The Herald staff reviews the opening week’s north Puget Sound games.

Herald writers Cameron Van Til, Zac Hereth and Josh Horton recap the highlights from Week 1 of the prep football season.

Some of the opening week’s highlights include Lake Stevens’ dismantling of Ferndale, Marysville Pilchuck’s win over Snohomish, Monroe’s down-to-the-wire overtime victory over Eastlake and Cascade thumping rival Everett behind a dominant rushing performance.
