Hey! I’m still here. Much like the big hullaballoo over Y2K (I was in the Navy then and could tell you some stories about what we went through to get ready for that non-event), the New Year came and went and the Trackside idiot is still posting.
But, as the song went, will I still be here tomorrow?
Yahoo! Sports’s Jay Busbee’s blog The Marbles is usually a good read, the more so since his latest includes a Q&A with Associated Press NASCAR writer Jenna Fryer.
Ms. Fryer has some detractors out there (yes, you), but I find her comments on the impact of the economic downturn to be right-on. Gotta give her props, too, for calling out The King. Although, she is a shameless name-dropper.
