Rays draft EvCC pitcher Kimborowicz in 19th round

Everett Community College freshman right-hander Josh Kimborowicz was drafted in the 19th round, No. 578 overall, by the Tampa Bay Rays.

Kimborowicz, who played his high school baseball at Mount Si, had a 4-1 record with an earned run average of 1.58 in 34 innings for the Trojans. Kimborowicz struck out 39 and walked 14.
