After less than a week at home, the Tips are back on the long road. Everett has two long road trips each season — one out east to the Eastern Conference and one up north to Prince George. This season those trips came right on top of one another. Also, this season’s Prince George trip is hopped up on steroids, as not only does Everett play two games against the Cougars, the Tips stop off in Kelowna on the way back for two more games against the Rockets.
This trip is more than just long. The Tips will be without key defenseman Noah Juulsen for the games in Prince George as he’ll be attending the CHL Top Prospects Game. Then the games against Kelowna are the big showdown, pitting the U.S. Division-leading Tips against the league-leading Rockets, including a televised game on Friday.
Everett was exceptional on its eastern road trip, going 5-1 against the East Division. But how will the Tips fare on this one?
