Zack Berg, a senior linebacker/running back at Edmonds-Woodway High School, verbally committed to play for the University of Wyoming football team.
Berg, one of the area’s best two-way starters, committed to Wyoming on Wednesday, Berg’s dad said.
Berg (6-foot-2, 200 pounds) has rushed for 1,302 yards (7.5 yards per carry) and 21 touchdowns this season for Edmonds-Woodway, which plays a road game against Auburn tonight in the Class 4A quad-district playoffs. Here are Berg’s detailed season statistics, including game-by-game performances.
Also, here is a highlight video of Berg (including his personal introduction) from the 2009 season, which was Berg’s first year at E-W; he transferred to E-W from King’s.
