CAHORS, France — Feao Latu, a 28-year-old rugby player from Tonga, died of a heart attack after collapsing during a game Sunday.
His death was announced by the Cahors rugby club.
Latu, a flanker for Perigueux, collapsed in the 17th minute during the game in southwest France. He was rushed to a hospital but doctors were unable to revive him, Cahors said on its Web site.
The two teams play in the French third division.
