Seahawks Friday injury report. Trufant out, Hill questionable, everybody else should play

It’s not unexpected news based on what Pete Carroll said early in the week, but cornerback Marcus Trufant has officially been ruled out for Sunday’s game with a hamstring injury. With cornerback Brandon Browner suspended, that puts Walter Thurmond, who had replaced Trufant as Seattle’s nickel corner last weekend, into a starting role. Jeremy Lane or perhaps Byron Maxwell will serve as Seattle’s third corner with Trufant still out.

Linebacker Leroy Hill, who missed last week’s game with an ankle injury, is questionable after being limited in practice all week. If Hill couldn’t play, that would mean a second straight start for second-year linebacker Malcolm Smith.

S Kam Chancellor (groin) and C Max Unger (hip), who were both added to the injury report Thursday, are listed as probable and should be fine for Sunday’s game, Carroll said.
