RENTON — Seattle Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren told multiple radio stations Friday morning that defensive end Patrick Kerney will not play against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
Holmgren said that Kerney is in Alabama to visit Dr. James Andrews about his hurt left shoulder. Andrews performed surgery on a torn labrum after the 2007 season, and Kerney re-injured the same shoulder in Sunday’s win over San Francisco.
Darryl Tapp and Lawrence Jackson are likely to start against the Eagles on Sunday.
