The most notable thing from these numbers is seeing how much Kam Chancellor played upon his return following his 55-day holdout. Chancellor, who only returned to the team last Wednesday, ended up playing most of the game. He was rested during one drive in the first half, then sat out Chicago’s final drive when the game was already out of reach. So it seems that Chancellor didn’t suffer much from his time away from the team.
Interesting the contrast in the percentage of plays for nickel corner Marcus Burley from last week to this week. Last week Burley played in 97 percent of Seattle’s defensive snaps, but this week it was just 34 percent. That’s the difference between facing Aaron Rodgers and Jimmy Clausen.
Rookie defensive end Frank Clark started seeing a few more snaps. He was in on 40 percent of the defensive plays this week after being at around 25 percent the first two weeks.
