Shorecrest breaks tie with Kamiak

SHORELINE – Shorecrest used a key hit in third inning to take a 5-1 Western Conference South Division victory over Kamiak Friday.

The victory improved second-place Shorecrest to 5-2 in league as Kamiak dropped a game back at 4-3.

Derek DuPree had the key hit in the bottom of the third inning with a bases-loaded three-run double to put the Scots up for good at 3-1.

After scoring an unearned run, Garret Flowers had a RBI single in the sixth inning, scoring Zach Hale from third base to put the Scots up 5-1.
