The Monroe Sockeyes U-11 baseball team won the championship at the inaugural Legends Tournament held July 15-17 at Rotary Park and Sky River Field in Monroe.
The Sockeyes defeated the Redmond Muckdogs 10-4 in the title game.
The Sockeyes roster included Matt Klein, Avery Imper, Cesar Cruz, Luke Klein, Chase Pack, Josh Jerome, Tanner Koy, Ben Garver, Sam Stayner, Chase Christain, Austin Hauck and Noah Hauck. The coaches were Scott Stayner, Aaron Imper and Eric Torgesen.
The tournament drew teams from Monroe, Everett, Redmond, Eastlake and Bellevue.
