So with the unexpected news coming up late in the afternoon thanks to Super Bowl XL ref Bill Leavy, I completely forgot to put up a post with some injury updates from yesterday. So here they are, a day late:
Lofa Tatupu has what Pete Carroll called a mild hamstring injury. It sounds like it’s something Tatupu could be playing through, but since he has a history with hamstring injuries, Carroll said they’re being cautious with the linebacker.
Rookie S Kam Chancellor has an undisclosed hip injury that may be an old issue creeping back up.
DE Lawrence Jackson also has a hamstring injury, and Carroll said he is close to returning to practice, noting that Jackson hasn’t been able to do much and they are eager to get him back on the field soon.
Be back with more after this morning’s practice.
