NEW YORK — The Seattle Storm announced their 2012 WNBA schedule on Thursday.
The Storm open at home on May 18 against the Los Angeles Sparks. Seattle closes out its 34-game regular season on Sept. 23 at Phoenix.
The WNBA will take a break from July 14 to Aug. 15 for the London Olympics. As many as 20 WNBA players are expected to represent various countries at the Olympics.
The WNBA regular season ends Sept. 23. The playoffs begin Sept. 27.
