LYNNWOOD – Karsten Strieby scored 20 points to lead Mountlake Terrace to a 64-33 victory over Lynnwood in a Wesco South boys basketball game on Saturday.

Strieby made 7-of-11 free throws as the Hawks improved their record to 1-0 in conference play and 1-2 overall.

”He was hitting a bunch of 15-footers,” Lynnwood assistant coach Sean Marsh said of the 6-foot-6 Strieby. ”We were having a hard time defending their size.”

Michael Wiley scored 13 points for Mountlake Terrace.

Louis Stone scored a team-high 7 points for Lynnwood (0-1, 1-1).

Nathan Hale 57, Archbishop Murphy 50: At Everett, Wyatt Taboh-Graziano netted 14 points as the Raiders beat the Wildcats in non-league action. Melton added 16 points and five rebounds and junior Joey Clancy went 5-for-5 from the field with eight rebounds.
