SEATTLE — The University of Washington is offering free tickets to Saturday’s football game against No. 19 California to any active police, fire or military personnel.
The school announced the move on Monday in response to the shooting death of four Lakewood police officers on Sunday.
Fire, police and military personnel with identification will be able to get four tickets to Saturday’s game, the Huskies’ season finale. Coach Steve Sarkisian says, “what you do is recognized, and truly, truly invite you to this ballgame.”
