SEATTLE – The University of Washington women’s basketball team will play host to Pepperdine in the first round of the Women’s National Invitational Tournament Friday at Hec Edmundson Pavilion.
The time of the game between the Huskies (17-12) and the Waves (17-12) will be announced later today. The winner will play the winner of the game between Creighton and Colorado State at a time and place to be determined.
Washington is one of three Pacific-10 Conference teams invited to the 32-team tournament. Oregon State plays host to Gonzaga Friday and Arizona State plays at UNLV Thursday.
