VIDEO: Pro Aerial League drone racing in action

Get ready Everett, the Pro Aerial League is coming to Xfinity Arena on Saturday.

What is the Pro Aerial League? The Pro Aerial League is a start-up drone racing league that was co-founded by Everett native Brian Deller. However, the Pro Aerial League comes with a twist, as it’s a team-based competition and is raced on courses designed to be spectator friendly. The drone being used in the league is Thrust-UAV’s Riot 250R, a spec-class racing drone that can be purchased by anyone.

What’s drone racing like? Well, here’s a pilot’s perspective from the Pro Aerial League’s trial event held on July 7-9 at Portland International Raceway:
