Vote for the Frog of the Week

Who is the Frog of the Week? Vote for the Everett AquaSox player who performed best last week. Voting closes at midnight Sunday.

Nominees

Colt Emerson

The shortstop went 9-for-17 (.529 batting average) at the plate while hitting two home runs and four doubles. The first-round pick in the 2023 draft drove in four runs and walked three times while striking out just once as he compiled a 1.718 OPS.

Lazaro Montes

The right fielder swatted four home runs during his 6-for-19 week (.316), driving in eight runs and scoring six. He finished the week with a .425 on-base percentage and a 1.382 OPS.

Nico Tellache

With his team needing a win to stay in contention for the first-half title and a Northwest League Championship Series berth, Tellache entered Wednesday’s game in the fourth inning and allowed one run over five innings. The 27-year-old left-hander allowed a hit and a walk while striking out three batters as Everett won 9-3.
