Jevin Madison | Archbishop Murphy football
The senior running back carried the load in a 10-9 road victory over Lynden on Nov. 23, rushing 27 times for 188 yards to send the Wildcats to the Class 2A state semifinals. Madison won The Herald’s Athlete of the Week for Nov. 17-23 by claiming 515 (54.85%) of the 939 votes.

Zia-Daye Anderson | Kamiak girls basketball
The junior scored 27 points against Lynnwood on Dec. 2 and then topped that with a dominant, 35-point performance against Cascade on Dec. 7.
Syunta Lee | Jackson boys swimming
Lee won the 50-yard freestyle in 21.92 seconds and anchored two winning relays in the Timberwolves’ 148-20 win over Mariner on Dec. 5.
Bubba Palacol | Marysville Getchell boys basketball
The senior guard poured in a game-high 41 points and knocked down a pair of late free throws to lead the Chargers to an overtime victory over Squalicum on Dec. 7. Palacol also scored 26 points on both Dec. 3 and Dec. 5, giving him 93 points for the week.
Ellallee Wortham | Stanwood girls basketball
The junior forward scored a game-high 21 points in a win over Arlington on Dec. 4, then led the scoring again with 23 in a victory over Monroe on Dec. 7.
