Cole Truant | Jackson
The senior receiver made a one-handed catch to score a game-winning, 52-yard touchdown in Jackson’s 28-21 victory over Everett School District-rival Cascade on Friday. Truant finished with five catches for 87 yards and two scores. Truant won The Herald’s Athlete of the Week for Sept. 22-28 by claiming 1,233 (52.81%) of 2,335 votes.

Cole Adams | King’s
The junior quarterback completed 28 of 45 passes 306 passing yards and four touchdowns, and added 24 rushing yards and a TD. King’s came back to beat Olympic 40-37 on its last drive of the game.
Logan Manson | Monroe
The senior quarterback threw five TD passes on 16-for-20 passing for 195 yards as fourth-ranked Monroe defeated Mountlake Terrace 48-7.
Julio Vargas Jr. | Sultan
The junior receiver caught all six of the Turks’ completions, compiling 170 yards and three touchdowns in Sultan’s 35-14 triumph over South Whidbey.
Seamus Williams | Jackson
On offense, the junior receiver caught four passes for 122 yards and two TDs. From his defensive back position, Williams compiled seven tackles and returned an interception 33 yards at the Timberwolves defeated Kamiak 39-19 to improved to 4-1.
