On offense, the junior receiver caught four passes for 122 yards and two TDs. From his defensive back position, Williams compiled seven tackles and returned an interception 33 yards at the Timberwolves defeated Kamiak 39-19 to improved to 4-1. Williams won The Herald’s Athlete of the Week for Sept. 29-Oct. 5 by claiming 802 (62.07%) of 1,292 votes.

Hunter Ansell | Sultan
The junior running back carried the ball 20 times for 106 yards and two touchdowns in a victory over Lynnwood.
Aaron Clifton | Monroe
The senior wide receiver caught nine passes for 173 yards and carried the ball six times for 25 yards and a TD in a loss to Class 4A No. 1-ranked Camas.
Caleb Reed | Arlington
The senior running back led the Eagles to a Stilly Cup victory with 96 rushing yards and three touchdowns.
Grady Stuvland | Darrington
The sophomore rushed for 153 yards in the Loggers’ 58-50 loss to Tulalip Heritage.
Lukas Wanke | Edmonds-Woodway
Wanke had two long interception returns in the third quarter as the Warriors stunned Shorecrest to win their first league game of the season.
