We can’t possibly squeeze everything that happens in local high school athletics into The Herald. It would be like trying to cram a hefty offensive lineman into a pickle jar.
Not gonna happen.
So get ready to enjoy the prep sports experience from a totally fresh perspective as we unveil Double Team, a new blog that will feature news, photos, Web links and anything else we think might be useful and fun.
As the blog’s name suggests, Double Team is a two-person effort. The contributors are me, Herald Writer Mike Cane, and Herald Photographer Jennifer Buchanan. Together we hope to give our readers a different but equally insightful look at the area’s student-athletes, coaches, officials and fans.
