RENTON — There will be a 35-second shot clock for high school boys basketball in the state of Washington next season.
Athletic directors from around the state voted 42-11 Friday in favor of adding the shot clock for the boys hoops. The vote took place during the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association Representative Assembly.
The girls already play with a 30-second clock.
