The Philadelphia Wings acquired transition player Brodie Merrill on Tuesday, along with forwards Mike McLellan Dean Hill and the 41st overall pick in the 2011 NLL Entry Draft.
In exchange, the Edmonton Rush add forwards Athan Iannucci, Alex Turner, goalkeeper Brodie McDonald and three first round picks. The first round picks will come in successive years, beginning in 2012.
Merill tallied 47 points (nine goals, 38 assists) for the Rush in 2011.
Iannucci was the big name acquired by the Rush, he tallied 61 points (29 goals, 32 assists) in 2011.
