PULLMAN — Paul Wulff has finalized his five-year contract as Washington State University’s football coach. He will make $600,000 a year with $200,000 in base pay, $50,000 deferred and $350,000 in collateral funds for media duties.
Wulff also has incentives for team academic performance, coach-of-the-year honors and bowl appearances. If Washington State makes a BCS bowl, Wulff will receive $75,000. He’ll get $100,000 if the Cougars win the national title.
Wulff earned about $100,000 as the head coach at Eastern Washington. He was hired by Washington State on Dec. 11.
