All-star game set for 7/12

A trio of local players are scheduled to participate in the 29th annual Washington Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association All-state games July 12 at Highline Community College.

Lynnwood grad Drew Matzen and Meadowdale grad Tyler Milam will be playing in the Class 3A game, which is set for 5 p.m. King’s grad Ben Pawlak will be in the Class 1A game, which is scheduled for 1 p.m.

All players were nominated and selected by the WIBCA. Tickets are $10 and are good for all five games.

The Class B game will tip off at 11 a.m. The Class 2A game is at 3 p.m. and the Class 4A game is scheduled for 7 p.m.
