Same art show, new location

The annual Mill Creek Art Show and Sale will take place in a new location this year – North Creek Presbyterian Church.

Marlene King, of the Foundation for the Arts in Mill Creek, says the show’s new location is “a beautiful large room, well lighted, great sound system, lots of parking, easy to find from 164th and Bothell-Everett Highway and in general the whole building has wonderful ambiance.”

Suffice to say, the foundation likes the new location.

The show will again take place over three days, only this year it’ll be Oct. 19-21, Thursday through Saturday. The foundation was unable to schedule Sunday because of services.

King says the show will have a wide selection of artists, with “some of the key people from our shows in past years, and also a nice assortment of new artists.”

The show is the foundation’s annual fundraiser, with proceeds going toward scholarships for local high school students.
