The City of Lynnwood teen programs will be hosting Lynnwood Late Night teen night from 8:30pm-11:30pm on Saturday November 3rd at the Cedar Valley Gym located at 19400 56th Ave. W. Lynnwood WA 98036. Late Night is a dance and will also include glitter tattoos and a PS2 tournament.

Lynnwood Late Night is a new event for teens in seventh and eighth grades. The cost of admission is $5 with a current school ID or a Late Night wristband. Late Night wristbands are passed out at Meadowdale Middle, Alderwood Middle and Brier Terrace Middle schools during lunch on the week prior to Late Night.

At 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, there will be a showing of “Greater Everett &Snohomish County Civil War History,” a program presented by Jim Shipman of Arlington. It will take place at the Alderwood Manor Youth Club, 19719-24th Ave. W.in Lynnwood. A potluck lunch follows the program. Bring a dish to share; coffee and tableware is provided. Record earnings and

assets reported

Washington BanCorp, the holding company of The Bank of Washington, reported record earnings of $1,601,000 or 68 cents per share for the nine month-period ending September 30. Growth in assets to $200.7 million was also a record for the Lynnwood-based bank holding company.

Earnings increased 33 per cent compared to a year ago and assets grew 32 per cent.

The bank opened 11 years ago to provide community banking for Edmonds and has expanded to five additional communities with branch locations in Mukilteo, Lynnwood, Kirkland Redmond and Issaquah. The Issaquah office became fully operational in December 2006.

The Bank will relocate its Edmonds branch to a new facility in the Edmonds downtown core in December. Expansion to 31 SE Everett Mall Way in south Everett is planned in early 2008.
