Snohomish County organizations that support recreational bicycling and bike safety for children or adults are eligible for consideration. Previous grants have ranged from $100 to $1,000 and have supported children’s bike helmets, bike racks, bike rodeos and bicycles for low-income youth. Grant awards will not exceed a combined total of $1,500. Previous 2008 grant awards totaled almost $3,000.
