Curlers face off at Granite
An automatic berth into the 2004 U.S. Men’s National Curling Champion-ships will be up for grabs this weekend at Seattle’s Granite Curling Club.
The 2004 Washington State Men’s Curling Championships begin today (Friday, Jan. 16) with a strong field of seven teams competing in a round-robin event. All matches will be played at the Granite Curling Club, located at 1440 N. 128th Street, and are open to the public at no charge.

Rhinos host tournament
The Rhino Classic Wrestling Championships are set for tomorrow (Saturday, Jan. 17) at Nathan Hale High School.
Divisions include pee-wee through junior weight classes. Weigh-ins start at 7 a.m. with matches scheduled to start at 10 a.m. A USA Wrestling card is required. Nathan Hale is located at 10750 30th Ave. NW. in Seattle. Championship trophies will be awarded to the top five teams. Information: www.wrestling rhinos.com.
