New tax consulting firm opens in Everett
Ryan Blume and Jenny Keeney, former senior managers of Moss Adams, have formed a new firm, Blume Keeney. The partnership provides specialty tax and consulting services specifically for individuals, corporate executives, business owners, family groups, trusts, and estates across the Puget Sound region. The firm is located in downtown Everett at 2918 Colby Ave., Suite 201.
Edmonds chamber taking registration Fourth of July run
Online registration is now open for all runners in the Eighth Annual Edmonds 4th of July 5K Fun Run/Walk. PUD offers help for people having problems paying bills
Snohomish County PUD would like the public to know that there are multiple programs available to help customers having trouble paying their PUD bill. These include a Budget Payment Plan and Low Income and Senior Assistance. There are also programs such as Project PRIDE and Helping Hands that are funded through voluntary donations. Recognize a worker who saved a life
The Governor’s Industrial Safety and Health Advisory Board is accepting nominations for the 2014 Governor’s Lifesaving Awards for workers in Washington state who saved a life in the past 12 months.
The heroic act must have been performed during work hours and taken place between June 1, 2013 and May 31. The deadline for nominations is June 30. Go to www.wagovconf.org.
